What’s new in CalendarPrint

• ✓Printing no longer holds up Outlook — the print job runs on its own with a small “Printing…” indicator, and you can keep working while it finishes.
• ✓Unconfirmed appointments: tick Highlight tentative appointments under Display options. Anything set to Tentative in Outlook (meeting invitations you haven’t accepted yet, for example) gets a striped edge and italic text in the month view and a striped box in the day and week views.
• ✓Monthly: every appointment now has its own box, so a long title wraps to a second line and the location fits. On a very busy day the boxes fall back to one line so nothing is hidden.
• ✓Weekly and Work Week: Out of Office days are shaded like in the month view, and appointments spanning several days are shaded across exactly the hours they cover.
• ✓The print dialog opens straight away on the first use after starting Outlook; the calendar list fills in while your calendars are being resolved.
• ✓Housekeeping: after an automatic update, debug logging switches itself off again, and ticking “Enable debug” now offers to restart Outlook for you.

• ✓Noticeably faster: calendars are read and rendered in the background, so even large calendars open in seconds and the dialog stays responsive.
• ✓Meeting location on the print — new Show location option, on every layout.
• ✓Monthly: appointments spanning several days are drawn as bars across the days, days outside the printed month are greyed, and Out of Office days are cross-hatched.
• ✓Weekly: the start/end time and location options now apply to the Weekly layout as well.
• ✓Appointments are listed in time order within each day.

• ✓Calendars are read in bulk instead of item by item — a shared calendar that took almost a minute to open now opens in a few seconds, also in organisations that don’t allow Cached Exchange Mode.
• ✓What you have already loaded stays loaded for the rest of the Outlook session — changing options or reopening the dialog no longer re-reads your calendars.
• ✓A “Fetching calendar data…” badge shows in the preview while a calendar is being read.

• ✓Fixes calendars failing to load on some machines, where the add-in could not open its mail reader component.
• ✓The support log now says exactly why a calendar could not be read, so we can help faster.

• ✓Gantt: Main event / Sub event hierarchy, Hide from Gantt for rows you don’t want on the chart, and a footer line with the chart’s totals.
• ✓Colours: the colour you give each calendar now drives the whole page, with a new compact colour picker — a palette, the web designer’s presets, and a custom colour.
